The Bible says this is what love is like:
"Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance."
Do you feel loved like that?
The Bible also says that you have always been loved this way by God, and that He will never stop loving you. In John 3:16 it says:
At the heart of the truth about God is that he is generous. While we as human beings were separated from him because of our choices and desire to be independent God the Father gave his precious son for us. Jesus was given for the whole world - that includes you and me! Through his death on the cross Jesus made a way for every person to know God personally. Our part, our response is to believe- the word means to trust and accept his offer of salvation for us.
And the motivation was love. That is our motivation as Christians in Crewe. We want each person to know the gift of Jesus and so to know God himself.
